1.Overview
This Refund Policy explains when you may be eligible for a refund for paid subscriptions to API Test Lab. It applies to purchases made through our website at apitestlab.org. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to this policy in addition to our Terms of Service.
2.Free Trial
Pro and Max plans may include a free trial period. During an active trial, you are not charged. If you cancel before the trial ends, no payment is taken. Once a trial converts to a paid subscription, the billing terms in this policy apply to that charge.
3.7-Day Refund Window
If you are not satisfied with a paid plan, you may request a refund within 7 calendar days of your initial charge for that subscription period. This applies to your first paid charge after a trial ends, or to a direct purchase without a trial. Refund requests made after 7 days are generally not accepted unless required by applicable law.
4.What Is Not Refundable
We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods after the 7-day window, for plan downgrades mid-cycle, or for unused time remaining on a subscription you chose to cancel. Renewals are non-refundable except where required by law or where we determine a billing error occurred on our side.
5.Cancellation vs. Refund
Canceling your subscription stops future charges but does not automatically refund amounts already paid. You keep access until the end of the current billing period. To request money back for an eligible charge, you must contact us separately using the process below — cancellation alone does not trigger a refund.
6.How to Request a Refund
Email support@apitestlab.org from the email address on your account, or use our Contact page. Include your account email, the date of the charge, and a brief reason for the request. We aim to respond within 3–5 business days. Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method; timing depends on your bank or card issuer.
7.Payment Processing
Payments are processed by Freemius, our third-party billing provider. Refunds for eligible charges are issued through the same payment channel. We cannot refund charges made outside our official checkout or to payment methods we cannot verify.
8.Chargebacks & Disputes
Please contact us before opening a chargeback with your bank. We will work in good faith to resolve billing issues. Unwarranted chargebacks may result in account suspension while the dispute is investigated.
9.Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy as our billing practices evolve. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of paid plans after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy for new charges.
